Dominion Development recognized for Green Home Building at the 2nd Annual EarthCraft Awards

image During the 2nd Annual EarthCraft Awards, of the 1700 homes certified by the green building program in 2010 throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, Bob & Carolyn DuVal’s new custom home built by the Charlottesville VA new home builder Dominion Development was recognized as the 8th most energy efficient home built in the state with a HERS index of 54. At the same reception, John Kerber of Dominion Development was recognized as a finalist for the prestigious “Single Family Builder of the Year” award. “To be identified as building one of the most energy efficient homes in Virginia is amazing. And then to be further singled out of the more than 280 EarthCraft builders and developers in the Commonwealth as among the three finalists in the Builder of the Year category is a great honor and one we are very proud of. It is humbling to have our team’s commitment to building healthy, energy and resource efficient homes that are both green and sustainable acknowledged.”
