John Kerber Accepts Outstanding Leadership Award for BRHBA

On June 17, Blue Ridge Home Builder’s Association (BRHBA) was recognized by the Virginia Housing Coalition for Outstanding Leadership.  A broad combination of achievements were mention during the presentation of the Award including leadership in bringing the EarthCraft green building program to Virginia, a growing number of local builders giving attention to “easy living” and “aging in place” long-term accessibility issues, and political activity in helping to stem rising regulatory costs to residential building. BRHBA’s Past-President John Kerber, of Dominion Development, an EarthCraft builder and the builder of the first “EasyLiving” house in central Virginia, accepted the award on behalf of BRHBA.
